Rubber Surfacing For Rooftops

As a rooftop system, Rubberway^® Multi-Purpose rubber flooring provides benefits such as sound-dampening and insulation. The insulating properties of Rubberway Multi-Purpose reduce heating and cooling costs of the building, saving money and energy which can more than pay for the initial installation over time. Our rubber flooring system for rooftops is also safe non-slip, and easy to maintain. It has been installed on hotel rooftops and as rooftop bar and restaurant flooring to reduce the noise that reaches the rooms below.

Rubberway Multi-Purpose can be installed as a cool roof, utilizing light colors to reflect the sun's rays to absorb less heat which reduces the heat island effect and keeps the building cooler. In addition to reducing operating costs and making the building more comfortable, Rubberway systems are eligible for a variety of LEED credits and can transform a once unused roof space into a beautiful recreational area.

Our rubber surfacing system for rooftops when installed at a 1/4:12 test slope, has met the requirements of Class A Spread of Flame modes only for noncombustible roof deck criteria per ASTM E 108-17 when tested and evaluated to the requirements outlined in ASTM E 108-17- UL 790.

Multi-Purpose Rubber Flooring

Rubberway Multi-Purpose can be installed as a single layer system or as a dual layer system, and can be made to be porous or non porous. A variety of colors and rubber granule sizes are available as well to meet different design objectives.

Single Layer Multi-Purpose Rubber Surfacing

Rubberway multi purpose non slip rubber surfacing Rubberway Multi-Purpose can be installed as a single layer system over asphalt or concrete. This system is often used for rooftop flooring, patios, balconies, hallways, gyms, CrossFit centers, climbing wall floors, and to turn a concrete or asphalt trail into a comfortable, non-slip, resilient walking or jogging trail.

Dual-Layer Non-Porous Rubber Surfacing

Rubberway multi-purpose rubber flooring Rubberway Multi-Purpose can also be installed as a dual layer system and can be made to be non-porous if desired. The base layer is made from recycled rubber while the top "wear" layer is made from virgin rubber that is colored throughout so the color won't wear over time.
