A Rubberway rubber walking and jogging trail was installed to encourage health and wellness in a community in Kentucky as part of a Department of Transportation project. A non-porous Rubberway multi-purpose system was installed as an overlay over existing asphalt to add cushion and resilience, making a more comfortable, non-slip surface for walking and jogging that's easier on the joints. An asphalt black color of rubber was used so that this rubber pathway looks just like an asphalt one.
