The Prop 1 Stormwater Grant Program promotes regional water security, climate, and drought preparedness by contributing to improved storm water resource management.
The goals of this program are to help water infrastructure systems adapt to climate change, provide incentives throughout each watershed to collaborate in managing water resources and setting regional priorities for water infrastructure, and improve regional water self-reliance.
$200 million shall be available for grants for multi-benefit storm water management projects. Eligible projects may include, but shall not be limited to, green infrastructure, rainwater and storm water capture projects and storm water treatment facilities.
