Tire Incentive Program Projects Completed 2019 - 2021
USSA Sources post-consumer recycled tire rubber from recyclers across the U.S. to utilize in porous rubber pavements, rubber trails, tree wells, walkways, medians, and rubber playgrounds. This reduces the need for raw materials and diverts tires from landfills.
The following projects were completed between Dec 2018 and March 2021. These projects all utilized rubber from California recycled tires and were funded by a grant from CalRecycle. In total, these projects and some test / demo site materials were sold which diverted 52,617 tires from landfills.
