With roots as a product development company, United Sustainable Surfacing of America (USSA Inc) is proud to release Rubberway EVOLUTION - the newest addition to its line of sustainable surfacing products.
Rubberway EVOLUTION is a flexible, porous rubber paving system designed to be used for a variety of applications including sidewalks, pathways, tree surrounds, driveways, patios, and parking lots. This innovative, patented system utilizes virgin rubber that is colored throughout to eliminate the possibility of color wear over time. Rubberway EVOLUTION is available in a variety of colors that can be blended to emulate the look of stone or may be combined with stone. The colored rubber and optional stone aggregate is mixed with a hard, clear, UV stabilized binder and is poured over a base layer of recycled rubber from post-consumer tires. This system can withstand heavy weight loads and is long lasting even in high use areas.
As an open grid, rapid draining system that utilizes recycled rubber, Rubberway EVOLUTION is a sustainable alternative to traditional paving systems.
Rubberway EVOLUTION has been installed at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC and Virginia Tech University and is planned for a number of additional projects. This system can be customized in a variety of colors, textures, and thicknesses.
