Project Description: Rubberway^® Pervious Pavement Running Track

The US Navy needed a training track that would meet or exceed stringent stormwater requirements for federal facilities. This four lane track was custom designed for the US Navy using Rubberway Pervious Pavement. 

The Rubberway Pervious Pavement running track is pervious, allowing water to penetrate through to the sub-soil rather than run-off. This allows for quick drying of the surface and helps reduce stormwater flows. Rubberway also provides a safe, non-slip, comfortable and ergonomic surface for all types of athletic training.
