Project Description: Rubberway® Evolution Tree Wells on Independence Ave
Year Installed:2016
This is three phase installation plan which will include various sights throughout the city using one of many Rubberway system options.
The first phase of the project has been completed and consists of 10 Rubberway Tree Wells located on Independence Avenue in front of the newly renovated Arts and Industries museum. These large tree wells were designed to remove trip hazards for pedestrians getting off buses to visit the museums which receive 27 million visitors per year. Additional Rubberway systems are to be installed and will span around various locations throughout the city.
The Rubberway EVOLUTION system was custom designed to match the surrounding stone sidewalks for this project.
